For the second time in the past three weeks, McMurry University War Hawk swimmer Robyn Remschel of Fredericksburg, TX was honored for swimming excellence this week by CollegeSwimming.com and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.

In last week’s tri-meet versus NCAA II member UT-Permian Basin and NAIA nationally-ranked Wayland Baptist, Remschel won the 100-yard backstroke in a season-best time of 59.42 seconds. Remschel was also sixth in the 50 freestyle (26.67). She also swam the lead leg of the War Hawks’ 200 medley relay, which was second in a time of 2:01.06 (McM’s best time of the year in that race).

Both Robyn Remschel and Jerick Pena were named as the SCAC's "Swimmer of the Week" on Nov. 1, as well.
