Larandall Scroggins a Member of McMurry War Hawk Men's Basketball Team

Larandall Scroggins of Carrollton, TX is a member of the 2017-18 McMurry War Hawk men's basketball team.

McMurry University men's basketball team - sporting a roster with just two seniors and nine newcomers - was selected fifth in the 2017-18 American Southwest Conference West Division pre-season poll. The poll is a compilation of votes cast by the ASC's coaches and sports information directors, as well as selected media members.

Additionally, one of head coach Zach Pickelman's seniors - LaRandall Scroggins - was also tabbed on the ASC West "watch list" for the upcoming season. In 2016-17, Scroggins averaged 12.7 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. He had 13 blocked shots and hit 47.3 percent of his shots from the field.

As a team, McMurry was 9-16 overall last year. The War Hawks went 5-12 in ASC play. In all, Pickelman welcomes back eight letterwinners from 2016-17.

McM plays an exhibition at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio on November 11. The War Hawks begins the 2017-18 campaign for real with a non-conference bout on November 24 at Schreiner University.
