Dona Kirkes Attends San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium

Dona Kirkes of Haskell TX attended the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium December 6-9. This meeting featured breaking news in breast cancer research and an opportunity for researchers to connect and forge alliances to support the effort to understand and defeat this disease. The McMurry group is part of Dr. O'Connell's research team and their attendance at the meeting was funded by a grant from the Geographical Management of Cancer Health Disparities Program (GMaP), funded by the National Institutes of Health.
