Brooks Turnbow a Member of the McMurry Shooting Sports Club

Brooks Turnbow of Abilene, TX is a member of the McMurry Shooting Sports Club.

The McMurry Shooting Sports Club was established was established in the Fall 2015 semester; The club recently received a $10,000 grant from the American Shooting Sports Foundation to purchase equipment.

The McMurry Shooting Sports Club will be shooting Trap, Skeet, and 5 stand competitions. The club will be broken down into two divisions. The Intramural Division will be students who want to learn the basics of shooting and shooting for fun. The second division will be shooting in competitive tournaments.

The McMurry Shooting Sports Club is a member of the Association of College Union International (ACUI) and will compete for the national championship in San Antonio in March 2016. Last year over 70 colleges and universities and 600 shooters competed for the championship.
